What is The Challenge? It’s a commitment to learning the difference between products disguising themselves as food, and the fuel that your body craves. It’s a decision to engage in a new lifestyle that can invigorate yourself both mentally and physically. It’s a devotion to education and transformation, and it begins with just 30 intentional days!

If you’re thinking, “30 days? I can commit myself to learning a lot, eating clean, and moving more for 30 days,” then The Challenge is for you.

I’m sure you have a plethora of questions about what all The Challenge entails, but don’t worry, this page will answer a good number of them for you. The Challenge is a “30 Days to Healthy Living” program that incorporates education, clean eating, and exercise that can change your life forever!  We are so excited that you made the first step by choosing to learn more about this program, and will be glad to walk through The Challenge with you every step of the way!

What benefits are there in participating in The Challenge?

This “30 Days to Healthy Living” program is a system designed to equip people with beneficial tools and education to implement a healthy lifestyle for the rest of their days. During The Challenge, you’ll learn how to combat (and conquer) unhealthy eating and drinking habits, discover healthy alternatives to popular products that disguise themselves as food, and learn about REAL food that your body craves for fuel.

What are some of the things we’ll be focusing on during “The Challenge?”

1. Eating Clean
The Challenge
 focuses on eating organic, non-GMO foods free of preservatives, additives, pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, artificial flavors, and all other toxins. As stated earlier, food can be fuel or poison. A toxin is anything that the body can’t use as energy. By now, I’m sure you’ve heard or seen plenty of people making a big deal about organic foods. Whether on television, Social Media, or from seemingly eccentric friends or family members, someone is making a big deal about consuming as much organic food as possible. Supermarkets across the country, including Wal-mart, are even supplying more and more organic options due to the demand for such products. Why? Well, organic foods contain up to 40% more antioxidants than those conventionally grown, especially in the United States. The Challenge will help you learn how to use, and where to find, organic foods that will help fuel your body and hopefully keep you toxin free.

2. Eliminating Allergenic, Addictive, & Acidic Foods
Have you ever felt “bad” after eating something? Do you feel like you’ve experienced symptoms of premature aging? A lot of people that experience the feeling of poor health do not realize that the answer to their problem may be as simple as removing possible food allergens & sensitivities. During the 30 days that you’d be taking The Challenge, you’ll be trying to remove possible allergenic foods like gluten, dairy, soy, artificial sweeteners and processed/refined sugars from your diet. If the thought of removing one of these things from your diet make you immediately resistant to trying The Challenge, it probably means that you are sensitive to that food. More often than not, the food you crave the most, especially the ones that you know are horrible for you, are the ones that are affecting you the most, and more often than not, it’s affecting your body negatively.

3. Balancing Blood Sugar
The Challenge
 encourages the balance of blood sugar by eating “low” on the glycemic index. This will help the body in MANY ways. The “high, moderate, and low glycemic index” exists as a measure of how certain foods affect blood-sugar levels, with each food having its own number rating. The lower the GI rating is in the food you eat, the more balanced your blood sugar will be, as they will allow the infusion of sugars into the bloodstream to happen more gradually. Eating low glycemic foods/meals also reduces hunger cravings. Foods/meals that rank in the “high” GI affect you negatively by rushing sugars into the bloodstream faster, and make you feel hungry more quickly after eating them. When blood sugar goes up as a result of eating high glycemic foods/meals, a process called “glycation” takes place, which can lead to the thinning of the skin and wrinkles. Sodas, candy, and baked goods aren’t the only foods that elevate blood sugar quickly. Processed pasta, bread, potatoes, white rice, and high glycemic fruits are also culprits. You’ll be staying away from these things for 30 days during The Challenge.

4. Increasing Nutritional Intake
Thanks to the abundance of pre-packaged and fast food, malnourishment and obesity are running more rampant today than ever before. People are carrying around toxic fat while their bodies are beyond craving actual nutrition. Hope is alive and well though, for eating whole REAL foods, and ingesting nutrient-rich supplements can help reverse the condition and fill in possible holes that mineral deficient farm soils create.

5. Support Elimination Organs
The Challenge is prime to help out the body’s four elimination pathways: Your kidneys, liver, intestines, and skin, which is the largest elimination organ your body possesses. We come in contact with toxins daily, as they’re around us at all times. Meaning, if you’re intake of toxins is faster than your elimination of them, then your toxicity level can be off the charts, leading to fatigue, illness, or worse. However, if you give your body the support it needs to QUICKLY eliminate these toxins, then your system can perform the way it was made to, leading to a healthier you.

6. Getting You Moving More
Exercise is a key component in promoting a healthier life. Whether it’s working out in a gym, walking 1-2 miles a day, or simply just moving more than you do right now, exercising will help your body produce energy, fight disease, improve your mood, and control your weight.

 

 

 

How Do I Take The Challenge?

The Challenge is NOT a fad diet, nor is it a rapid weight-loss program. It’s a system designed to educate and assist you in beginning your journey towards good health!

We want to help! Why? Because we took The Challenge and it changed our lives. Someone presented this “30 Days to Healthy Living” opportunity to us, and we decided to take a shot. They had also participated in the program through a company named Arbonne, and seeing their transformation prompted us to try it out.

Seeing how revolutionary it was for them, they pointed us to the following informational video, which led to us saying, “Let’s do this!” We’d like for you to take a look at this video as well. It helps explain how The Challenge works, while educating you even further about what living a healthy life looks like.

 

 

So, now you know a little bit more about The Challenge, as it was adapted from the Arbonne 30 Days to Healthy Living Program. You’ve heard about the ways it can help you begin your journey towards a healthy life. However, I’m sure you still have questions about how we get started.
